Pollution!

Today is Earth Day - Make it Everyday.

Many of these stories or this post in general might not leave you feeling very optimistic towards an end to 'pollution' and many issues it creates. With that said, stories about what is being done can therefor if anyone knows of such a story please share them.  This post and the articles it point towards are about what is not being done and what is needed to change.

Yes, we are creating money and an easy life out of our environment however money needs to go back if there's to be hope. To indulge in a euphemism "the RENT is due." At present are plenty of people pointing at pollution but far too little has actually been and being done. Every little thing we can do will certainly help but simply pointing at or playing the 'blame game' is NOT eliminating our problems and the scientists looking have been telling this same story for decades. Our thinking need to change, a quantum change, a revolution in thinking that would impact in large meaningful way. To this end each and everyone one of us on this small Blue Marble called Home are indeed needed!

    Silent Spring

"[Rachel Carson] appearing on a CBS documentary about Silent Spring [Wiki] shortly before her death from breast cancer in 1964, she remarked, 'Man's attitude toward nature is today critically important simply because we have now acquired a fateful power to alter and destroy nature. But man is a part of nature, and his war against nature is inevitably a war against himself? [We are] challenged as mankind has never been challenged before to prove our maturity and our mastery, not of nature, but of ourselves.' Rachel Carson the author of Silent Spring which in 1962 exposed the hazards of the pesticide DDT." The Legacy Of "Silent Spring" ~ CBS News.
